This dataset contains two subdirectories: 

1) "AOR_images"

	that contains all images taken of the angle of repose experiments, 
	sorted by snow type and temperature. 
	Example: the images of the experiments with rounded grain snow at -2°C are in 
	
	/AOR_images/rg/-2
	
	- at each temperature several experiments were performed.
	- for each experiment (heap) 3 images were taken from different perspectives, labeled with a, b, c. 
	- the images are enumerated, the images "*h1a.jpg", "*h1b.jpg", "*h1c.jpg" were taken of heap no. 1. 

2) "CT_images" 

	contains 5 binary X-ray tomography images images, one of each snow type (RG,FC,FCS,IB,IBS).
	The images are binary segmented and in aim format. 
	The value 127 represents ice, and 0 air. 
	All images have a dimension of 792x792x792 voxel. 
	The voxel size is 15 microns.
